Come earn two VOLUNTEER HOURS by engaging with your fellow High School Peers in a virtual workshop to continue GreenUR’s themed series – All Things Food!

Participate in brainstorming activities, online art sessions, and team-building exercises in a fun, and relaxing environment to help come up with solutions on how to reduce food waste in grocery stores, restaurants, and food delivery services.

We will also be conducting “on-the-spot” research on soup kitchens and food banks in your local neighbourhoods to pre-empt this month’s take-home assignment for additional volunteer hours! All attendees to this event will get an advanced sneak peek at our exciting new volunteer opportunity for High School Students across Ontario!

We encourage you to bring a buddy to the event – the more the merrier!

Buckle in for two hours of food, fun, and friendship as we tackle waste management problems in a practical way and help to make the world a better place one person at a time!
